Barrington Stage and Sharron McClain Launch Black Voices Matter

Thank you to everyone who came out and celebrated with us during the first half of our “Celebration of Black Voices” festival.  It was wonderful to see so many people come together in the spirit of community and to shine a light on the talent that exists right here in our own backyard.  Due to the rising cases of Covid-19 in Berkshire County, we are going to take a pause and postpone the remainder of our events until later this fall.  Our first priority as a community is to safeguard the health and safety of everyone in our community: participants, audience and staff alike.  We look forward to continuing our celebration, but in the meantime, please check out our other “Black Voices Matter” presentations – which will include two new recorded Idris Goodwin plays this fall.Thanks again and we look forward to celebrating with you again soon!~Melle and Sharron
